Álvaro Siza Archive

The Álvaro Siza Archive, constituted by works donated by the architect to the Serralves Collection in 2015, is highly representative of the work of one of the world’s most prestigious architects.

This archive reveals the content of 40 projects and exemplifies the complexity of each architectural project. In addition to drawings and layout plans, the archive includes correspondence with clients, photographic records of the sites where the works were to be built, insights of the different actors involved in the construction processes, and minutes of meetings.

During the period in which the documents are being scanned, physical access the archive is not available and only online consultations may be made.

The Álvaro Siza Archive is expected to be fully available by mid-2018.
