The Serralves Foundation’s archive management policy reflects the central role that contemporary art museums currently assign to knowledge transfer and production processes - which depend upon research, investigation, the relationship with the international artistic community, and a network of cooperation and partnerships with similar Portuguese and international institutions.

The Serralves Library’s reading room is dedicated to enabling such encounters - by providing knowledge and information in a manner accessible to everyone.
